PASSION AND EMOTION
My name is Andrea and I graduated in engineering.
When I was a young boy, I never imagined I would, one day, be able to make real profession out of wine, but passion and curiosity about this truly fascinating world led me gradually to understand, almost without realising, that this was the right path for me.
I was born and grew up in Milan. My parents have always owned wine shops in the city centre; from a young age, I saw valuable bottles of wine pass through their hands, both from Italy and elsewhere.
Partly for fun, I began taking an interest in the subject, although, like a good engineer, I left nothing to chance, and set out on an enjoyable journey to discover what there is behind a bottle of wine: the grape variety, the land, the different techniques for growing the vines and processing the grapes in the cellars, resting and maturing the wine in casks and bottles, up until the sale of the finished product.
My real “lightbulb moment” was in 2003, when, during a short stay in Montalcino, I felt the growing desire to turn my passion into a vocation. I was fascinated by the landscape scattered with vineyards and how it felt to breathe the country air… everything said “wine” to me.
To gain experience I began tasting even more wines and, as well as studying and receiving help from my father, I came to understand that every wine has its own story to tell.
Out of this passion arose A&A Wine in 2016. We approached the wine market by making contact with a number of important Italian and foreign wine merchants. We realised that the demand for fine wines (particularly Italian and French) was very high, and so we gradually developed a network of contacts who could meet this demand.
We wanted to stand out early on, by offering a swift and reliable service.
We always verify the origin of our bottles, we check their conditions of storage one by one, and we take care of all steps until final delivery to the customer. Only then can we truly say we have concluded the sale.
We are still a small company, but we hope the high quality of our service, which we have resolved to maintain, will help us to grow.
For us, wine is first and foremost PASSION and EMOTION, and we never tire of expressing this to our customers, be they simple wine lovers or professionals.
